Stoplight took a picture of my car after late yellow light?

I went through this intersection and I didn't think I went through the yellow light that late but I guess I did because I noticed the flashes go off as I passed through the intersection :(

How much is this ticket going to be and when will it come in the mail?

Not knowing what state your in it will be to much no mater not to mention the increase on your auto insurance.

I do not know about Chicago but here in NC it was $50.00 and going up to $75.00 for the 3 pictures. You do not get any points and it does not effect your insurance rates. The pictures do not show the driver just the car.

If you really want to know, you'd better check your state DMV website assuming you live in the US.

Those things are a lot more common in Europe and other places - there are places here where they're not  legal in enforcement -- but they can be used for warnings, violation count, whatever.

You may be right about a ticket, but it sees unlikely you wouldn't have heard of someone else getting a ticket that way. Or, if you lifve in a city, call the city administrator and ask if tickets are given that way.
