  1. It's my favorite poem so maybe I can help you.

    My take on was that the darkest night meant a tough moment in life and the wood represented death/suicide. That's why he says:

    The wood are lovely dark and deep (death would offer escape)

    but I've got promises to keep

    and miles to go before I sleep

    and miles to go before I sleep. (His will to live is stronger)

    Alliteration is the repetition of the first consonant sound in a group of words, example (Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers) I won't do all your homework ;)
