  1. Sodium Chlorate (weedkiller)

  2. take the gravel up and spread heavy plastic and then put the gravel back down on the plastic. the plastic will kill the grass.

  3. pour boiling water on it and it will die - then pull it out

  4. spray with roundup - safe for children, pets and wild birds. If you use this in the spring and early summer you will remain weed free!

  5. take up the gravel, spread black plastic sheeting over the ground..

    replace the gravel...

  6. you can buy a sheet that you put under gravel to stop weeds you can buy it from most garden centres it better that weed killer if you have pets or children

  7. Lift the gravel and lay a semi-permeable membrane underneath before re-laying the gravel, this should stop the grass and allow the soil to be chemical free if needed in the future.

  8. you need to buy weedblocking fabric - it is usually black coloured and you can buy rolls from b&q / homebase or any other garden centre. you will also need to buy pegs / staples to secure them in place.

lift the gravel and spread the weedblock evenly and overlapping so that the wind does not get under, and then place the gravel back on

    good luck

  9. Use " Pathclear " or just put salt on it.
