  1. Specific features, not just more features.

My example: I'm looking into buying a 20GB PS3 because it has full backwards compatibility. That's really the only feature I care about - I don't need wireless since it will sit close to my router, and I have no reason to use the card reader built into other versions. (Of course, if I find a better deal on a 60GB, I certainly wouldn't pass it up).

Storage can be upgraded easily in most cases *cough Wii cough*. Features cannot.

  2. Features

  3. It all depends really.

If the console has an upgradable hard drive, then you can spend some extra money to get more space.

The PS3 system uses Laptop hard drives, so you can find these hard drives at any electronic store basically.

The 360 however, has specially made hard drives.

Features are defiantly great, but they can always add more via firmware updates.

So really, the only thing that matters when it comes to consoles, is it's hardware, as this cannot be upgraded without having to send it somewhere for replacement parts and what not.

While storage and features can be easily upgraded.

But if you want to know what I think between those two...

I'd have to say storage because you can run out of room pretty fast.  And if you already have all the room you need, you can just wait for updates and get new features without even leaving your home.

But this is defiantly an opinionated question.

  4. a game console?  like ps3 or xbox 360?  features are WAY more important than storage.  Mainly since all the latest generation systems have more storage space than you'll ever use anyway.
