Are smaller, tinned cigars (say ~4x32) typically stored in humidors? And in or outside of the tins? What if they're dry-cured ones like Panter?? Thanks!

  1. A humidor.

  2. Actually, clickety is incorrect about dry cured cigars.

Dry cured cigars are popular in Europe where tobacco is taxed by weight.

They do not need to be stored in a humidor at all.  However, there is nothing wrong with doing that, they'll just absorb moisture.  Once they do that, they cannot be stored outside of one.

  3. Go with the humidor. :)

  4. It is suggested you store any cigar in a humidor.  If the cigars come in tins, transfer them from the tins to the humidor.

  5. It is better to store any cigar in a humidor. If they're in a tin, take them out and transfer them to the humidor. Dry-cured doesn't mean that you store them in a dry place, so those cigars would be stored in a humidor also.

  6. All cigars should be kept in a humidor. Please, never forget to check up on the humidity levels of the humidor once in a while.

  7. any cigar wants to be in a humidor....
