Stores that take returns without reciept?

I live in Ontario, Canada, and I have noticed that Walmart takes returns, without a reciept... they give you a gift card for the amount, not cash... but thats better then not taking the item back at all. So, does anyone know of any other stores with similar practices?

No. And Wal-Mart in the U.S. doesn't even really do that anymore. It encourages people to steal and return items for credit, or worse, find junk around the house, claim it broke and return it to Wal-Mart.

Home Depot does for sure, cause I did it the other day. Most stores will, but they will only issue a store credit, and give you the items current selling price. IE... if it is on sale that day, you get refunded the sale price. Wal-Mart also has a policy that you can only return items on 3 occasions during a 3 month period with out a receipt.

Target - if you use a credit/debit card they will look it up for you.
