  1. No but I have some from my teenage years.

"We're gonna make an honest buck, and you are not funny PJ!" He said as we walked down North 27th street.

As long as I had known him he hadn't been completely honest about anything. So I was curious to see what he was gonna do for this money. We next walked down a back alley of my neighborhood, turned and walked to the back of a yellow and white ranch style house. He turns and bids us to be quiet, walks through a screen door to the back porch where we found several 6 packs of empty Coke bottles. He picks some up and quietly asks Vic and I do the same.

"So, this lady just lets you have her bottles? Gee, how nice of her." I said as we returned for another load. "I think I shall tell her thanks." I could see a sweet old lady intently watching daytime TV in the other room.

"No! She's watching her soaps and shouldn't be disturbed," said Rodney.

We took the bottles to the local grocery store, cashed them in and bought sodas for us all. As we stood outside the store I turn to Vicky and ask if we had really just stole the bottles.

"I'm not sure… I don't think it's a good idea to ask either. Rodney might tell you then you'd think less of yourself for being a thief."

I started to head for home and then Rodney started crying. "Gees PJ, I just wanted to buy you a soda and I didn't have any money of my own. That old lady goes to my mom's church and she knows it's me taking the bottles. Besides I really do have a job set up for today and it's just about time to start."

We walked 2 blocks down and 4 blocks over, till we came to an old vacant house. We went inside and lying there were 3 sledge hammers. "We're gonna tare this place down!"

He grabbed a hammer and started pounding down a wall. So Vicky and I did the same. It was loud and destructive. It was also a bit therapeutic as when we had finished breaking down every one of the inside walls I no longer hated "Rotten Rodney". (Well not as much anyway!)

Suddenly I heard a loud voice yelling, "What's going on here?" An old man walks through the door… "My god you've wrecked the place. I'm calling the cops on you kids!!"

With those words, Vic and I are already running out the back door while Rodney takes the hammers and pitches them in some near by bushes. We ran as far and as fast as our legs would carry us! Eventually we wind up at Tower mall. As we finally stop to take a breath…

"I'm gonna kick your ***!" I yell and reach for Rodney's scrawny neck. "I have defiantly had enough of your ****!"

"Wait, wait I can explain," says the lawless little loser.

I knew somehow that I shouldn't listen to the dinky little devil but I did anyway.

"That guy's gonna pay me for what we all just did. He wants to remodel the place and wouldn't have the money without his home owner's insurance. And we're supposed to meet him at the Orange Jules stand at 12:30.

Then it hits me."12:30? What time is it? I was supposed to call home." I grab a dime from his pocket and head for the phone. I told my step mom that I was eating lunch and then dinner at Vicky's house and that I'd be home later.

Meanwhile Rodney and Vicky go over to the stand and meet up with the old guy. They get the money and I run into them on their way back to the phone area.

"Wanna' go to the movies?" They chime in unison.

Well I was tired from my newly found criminal life and agreed to go see Fantasia, a freekin' Walt Disney production. After which we headed toward my house.

It was about 4:00 as we neared my neighborhood. Just about the time I'd be getting home from school. And I never got caught.
