  1. My mum named me Krystal because of the meaning brilliant glass. And the way it sounded. It has never been a name that 20 girls will have in one class and it's certainly not weird.

    Just curious what's you name?

  2. My first name is Clare which my mom named after the county in Ireland and my grandpa's cousin who's a nun, and after the saint Clare. My name's meaning is clear and bright which my mom liked as a meaning. My middle name is Meaghan which my dad chose, simply because he loved the name and because it means pearl.

  3. Well i really hate my name..... my mother is a single mom and i am her middle child out of 3. We all have strange names! My name is

my sisters are Gabby Sam (Just Gabby not Gabriella and not Samantha) and Natalee Dawny. And it's sad because we all look diffrent because the fathers Ran away. I'm White, My sister is Mexican and my other sister is African-American. My mom never believed in "weddings, Marriage, and such." she said "Have s*x for pleasure and children" "marriage is for people who are boring and want one man for the rest of their life!" i am married but recently got a divorce because he is cheating on me. I have one Boy who is 3 1/2  i let him choose who he wanted to go with (BIG MISTAKE) and chose his daddy :-( i get to see him once a month now.... it breaks my heart

  4. well my name is Lucrecia it's latin for "full of light" i'm named after my grandmother.

  7. My parents had a name all picked out for me.

Then I was born on St Patrick's Day in the South Side of Chicago in an Irish-Catholic neighborhood. So, it was Patricia or get kicked out of the neighborhood!

    :D

  8. I was named after my mom's god daughter. She was really jealous when my mom got pregnant and she thought that if she told her she'd name me after her if I was a girl that she'd get over it. They actually thought I was going to be a boy, so I don't think they gave girl names much thought.

  9. well i think my parents just loved my name...they thought it was very pretty....i am pretty happy with it too!

    lots of love

    Sophie

  10. My mom just liked the name and it's also because of Steel Magnolias. So, my name is Shelby(I actually don't really like it). My brother's name was more difficult. My mom liked Griffin(after a football player...he doesn't even like football), my dad didn't. After going through labor, my dad said "Well, you went through all of that, name him whatever you want".

  11. Katherine: after my aunt/godmother (dad's side)

Elizabeth: popular name on mom's side

  12. My name is Tabitha. I was named after the girl in the Bible who dies and Jesus brought back to life. My mother liked the name to start with and it just so happened that I died 3 times when I was a newborn so the name kinda fit.   I like your question. I will give you a star.

  13. My middle name is Josephine, after my great aunt.

I didn't find out where my first name came from untill actually, three days ago. Apparantly, my mother has some Jewish relatives, and her favorite of them is Abigail. So, I was named after her. My mother wouldn't tell me when I was younger, and she still doesn't want me to talk about it at all because my father and grandmother are very (VERY) anti-semitic. I remember when I was little that we were at a funeral in a church, and my mother and grandmother screaming at each other about my name being (or not being) a "Jew name" and how I would go to h**l for it (i guess God would confuse me with a "heathen Jew."

I never really liked my first name, just because of the arguements it caused, and the fact that my grandmother insisted on calling me "Abbey." I guess she thought it would confuse God, and he wouldn't realize I was named after a Jewish person. So, anyway, I mostly make people call me Josephine, Jo, or Phi-phi.

My dad wanted to name me Applebee, and grandmother wanted me to be named Jeannie (after her, cuz she's a Narcissistic *****), but my mother wouldn't allow it.

  14. My mom named me Rachael after a friend she knew as a child. My middle name is Michelle which my father picked, and then later used as a my sister's first name....? I use my maiden name as my middle now.

My sons were both named after people in our family that passed away.

what is with all these thumbs-down trolls lately?

  15. i never asked my mom where she got my name . . .i will ask her now! i bought a baby book and read every single name from a to z and i absolutely fell in love with Kaylee..and my sisters name is Katlynd i wanted something for her (difficult childhood together) and my daughters middle name i just simply loved Madisin..i figure if she feels Kaylee is not grown up enough for her she has a very mature middle name!

  16. Well our last name is Kent and my husband always said-ever since he was 6yrs old-that if he had a boy, his name would be Clark.  So we named our baby boy Klark Kent (ya know...Superman)  there was no changing my husbands mind and I figured it could be a lot worse.
