Question:

Storing Luggage at Heathrow?

I'm flying into Heathrow on an international flight from the US, and then spending a couple days in Paris and flying back to London, Heathrow and staying there.

I'm planning on storing my bags at Heathrow and just bringing my carry-on with me to Paris. Will I be collecting my bags the first time I land at Heathrow at a different terminal than the one I land in from Paris? Any suggestions on how to store my bags in the proper terminal so I can find them when I return from Paris? Thank you in advance!

  1. There is baggage storage at every terminal at Heathrow. You would leave and pick it up at the same terminal. See if you can find out from your Paris ticket where you are landing and then store your luggage there when you are flying in from the US.

It's not always clearly marked where the baggage service is but just ask any airport staff and they'll show you where to go

It cost me £6.50 for 24 hours.

  2. Just pick up your bags mate. Its the best and only way. It will minimize the trouble you will have otherwise!

  3. You can't store your bags at an airport..They'll mail them back to whatever address you put on the bag tags. Just take it with you.

  4. You'll need to pick up your bags come into the arrival hall proper and then go to the left luggage kiosk. I think most if not all Heathrow terminals have one, they will store your luggage (for a fee)

I think for Paris you fly to/from terminal 2 (I could be wrong...might depend whether you are flying BA or not).

The link takes you to the terminal 2 info, from there you can find links to info for other terminals if you need

    Edit

and have a great trip !!!!

  5. To see location of baggage storage areas at Heathrow:

    http://www.heathrow-airport-information....

Cost: £4 per item per 24 hours.

To see the list of airlines that operate to and from Heathrow and which terminals they use:

    Enjoy your trip! :-)

  6. yes there's left luggage facilities at Heathrow, look at

    http://www.airwise.com/airports/europe/L...

as to which terminal you'll be coming into each time, that's difficult to tell as I don't know which airline you're flying, but your travel agent should be able to find out, or you could ring the airlines you're travelling with, or you might be able to figure it out from the Heathrow website http://www.heathrowairport.com/  if you look at the arrivals section  ... but there are shuttle buses between the different terminals so wherever you leave your suitcase it shouldn't take long to get across to pick it up again

the cost of the left luggage facility is not cheap so make sure it's only one suitcase you're leaving there
