I am storing a sliced cantaloupe inside my refridgerator. I have sliced a piece (1/8 of the hull, inward) and stored the remaining 7/8 inside a zip-loc bag to prevent it from spoiling. I am able to SEAL this remaining fruit by using simple plastic-seal or a zip-loc bag. Is this (plastic seal) BETTER to seal this fruit-meat inside my refrigerator or can I store this cantelope longer simply inside the large zip loc bag?Thanks as I try to continually cut more wedges out of the meat to eat in this bloody heat.(I'm a poet and didn't know it - - - - - - I make a rhyme every time! -lol) :-')
