Storing baggage during the day in Paris?

Hi All,

I am going to Paris for the weekend with my husband. On Sunday we have to check out of the hotel by 11am, but our flight to London is not until 6pm. Is there anywhere in Central Paris that runs a baggage store/cloakroom ?

Thanks very much in advance!

  1. There are few Store/cloakrooms due to security reasons.

However, you can find one in Gare du Nord. Neither Gare de l'Est nor Gare St Lazare have one.

In order to go to Gare du Nord (within the Train station), visit www.ratp.fr

  2. Call up your hotel or send them an email and ask them first!  Sometimes hotels offer this type of service as a favor to their clients especially in major touristic locations like that.

Or, if your hotel is not located in the central part of the city, ask them if they have an afficliate hotel that you could go to for the same service.

  3. I have never been to a hotel that doesn't store bags for free whether it's before or after checkout.

  4. The major train stations have lockers that you can rent for a day.  Go to Montparnasse.  They had tons.

  5. In both Eastern and Western Europe, as well as the UAE, I have been able to have the hotel store my baggage for me for free.  Your hotel in Paris may charge a small fee for this.  If they absolutely don't store baggage, ask the concierge where you can find someplace.  Trust me, any reputable hotel gets questions like this all the time.
