Storm vs Manly game...?

Do you think the eagles only try should have been awarded..?

I was at the game and after numerous showing on by the video ref, myself and many other supporters were certain, he let go of the ball before he even touched the ground...

Now being I'm a storm supporter, I'm not complaining because we gave them an a.s.s beating anyway... just i feel as though it was more of a sympathy try if anything... do you agree...?

  1. yeah it was a try as was the steven bell try.

if you go to the video ref that means you think its a try if you think it was held up then you call held up . you dont call held up after the video ref has a look and cant decide cause he cat see it properly , so thats why archer went to video ref cause he couldnt see properly so if archer cant see video ref cant see ,the team crosses the line then its git to be benifit of the doubt and that means TRY  .

archer was clearly intimidated by the melbourne crowd and players he had a miserable and pathetic game he penalised manly out of the game , the storm got a lot of easy penalties that piggybacked them heaps of meters.

  2. He dropped the ball over the line, definitely a sympathy call by the ref. They were ripped off in the try before that though by bell! That call should have been made by the video ref and gone ahead as benefit of the doubt.

  3. manly should of but didnt i was thinking that the refree was paid by the storm to win and the game suck and sink of cheaters from the storm players and manly has some players down how can manly win next week?

  4. didnt see the game but the better side won by alot. its no good sayn the storm paid the ref or manly are down on players. its just not manlys year so some people should just get over the fact. the storm are a very good side.

  5. if it was deemed a try by the refs then even if you are under the oppinion they are incorrect the decision will play

and besides which they ot a belting anyway

  6. Yes dat Archer is the biggest losser he always heavily favours the home side each week, but im not complaning bcuz i had loads of $ on the storms. I dont fink der was any way in da world he scored dat try, i fink the vid ref just felt sorry 4 the Woman ly side lol

  7. I do not agree...

How come you do not mention the Steven Bell try that was not awarded when it was a try? Melbourne played great, but they also had the 50/50 calls going their way which helped alot...

I think if that game had a been at Manly's home ground, those calls would have gone Manlys way, thats the advantage of playing at home..

It is good to see melbourne play so well, Manly tried hard, but lacked any creativity..

as for your question, the steve bell try should have been awarded and maybe not the final try should have been awarded..

Trys do not get awarded on sympathy.. but i feel sympathy for you if you are livjng in Melbourne...the only good thing to come out of melb is the tv drama underbelly:)

  8. Well it didn't really matter because Melbourne got the win they needed and came out with the points.

My first impressions was a try but then I rethought about the decision. I knew it didn't matter but the call was a try and a try it was.

  9. The Storm did play well but gained most of possession from stupid decisions from the ref. Manly was always under the pump due to penalities. Most tries were scored on the back of territory from penalties. Different game when played at Brookvale

  10. Its not just Archer , but hes a prick as well he always favours a side and wen the victory is assured he decides to even up the penalty count when its all over.
