Storms warning?

Is it windy where you are in uk Im in london and it sounds dodgey outside and the storms not here yet?

I'm in the Pennines in West Yorkshire and it's lovely and peaceful. We even had some lovely sunshine this morning! We've had a few showers and it's a bit breezy, but nothing to write home about! Having said that, we're supposed to get hit tomorrow night and into Wednesday morning...so maybe this is the calm before the storm!

fleetwood lancashire, not so bad here at the moment and i dont think we will be getting any more ships washed up on the beach today !     (well i hope not)

I'm on the South Coast of UK (near Portsmouth) and trust me it's very windy. Bins blown over and torrential rain. The wind and rain woke me up this morning at 5.19am!

I went out to check the hen houses as one blew over last fortnight ,luckily they were all okay.I don't like this weather.I hope it dies down soon.Lindsay xx

No its barbeque weather. That's what you get from a parent who has spent a rather sleepless night. Seriously 60 miles south in Hampshire its hideous, though not as bad as they predicted. We're not going anywhere, one day off school won't hurt. And if the school wants to come and pick them up, there welcome, might have a bit of a problem getting past the fallen trees I can see in our lane.
