  1. ooo I believe it's from Aesop Fables. I can't tell the exact story, but it goes something like this.

A man was walking on a canal with a big coat on. When the wind saw it, he made a challenge with the sun, seeing who would be strong enough to take this man's coat off. The wind had already thought of how to take his coat of, by blowing it off from the man. So the wind blew and blew his very hardest, determined to blow his coat off. But the man only pulled it tighter around him, because it was cold and windy.

The wind gave up, and it was the sun's turn. So, the sun did what it can only do, it shone and shone its very hardest, until it was so bright and hot, that the man took his coat off. In the end, the sun won the challenge.

I can't remember the moral of the story though lol probably something to do with one's strength and weaknesses.=)
