The voices chimed together, a chorus of laughter, she reached the junction between the door and the path gripping her present more tightly as she was coaxed in. The wrapping lay limp on the hard wooden floor, ribbon and gifts strewn everywhere. The guests, like a army, turned their heads as she entered.
