Story ideas, anyone?

Question

I wanna write a story, but I have no idea what to write. Can you help me? I want my main characters to be both girls, Willow and Tara. Willow is like a computer-y nerd and Tara is shy and insecure. Basically I want them to fall in love and live happily ever after, but I want there to be angst in it too. Help me please?

(And yes, this is Willow and Tara from BtVS)

Willow's mother is a driven woman who grew up in a household without money because of a drinking father. She has made money in sales and made certain that her children value money.  Tara's family, while not bad off financially, does not show off their money preferring very modest everything. She is shy because she lives on the wrong side of town and isn't around many people her age.  They do fall in love but Willow's mother does her best to talk bad about Tara trying to put seeds of doubt in Willow's mind. The mother wants him to marry someone with more money.
