  1. you have to make a story very interesting so that children won't feel bored. Your voice tone have to be change in the character that involved. You can event make them to guess what the story about?  Let's the children participate in your story telling.

Suggestion book that i like to share with you is about "The Hungry Caterpillar". You can bring in concrete material such as fruits that caterpillar eat in the days. In this way children will not only listen to the story but they learn others things too such as weeks of the days, textures and a lot more.

    Try it out!

  2. is a great way to incorperate themes and values in young children. Some of my favorite include

    Dr. Seuss anything

    Buscuit books

Anything with talking animals for characters

  3. Preschoolers love to listen to stories, whether you make them up, or read them from a book, or retell them with puppets, stuffed animals...all forms are good. It helps them hear and understand language, build their comprehension skills, learn to listen, and use their imagination.

There are lots of books that are made specifically for that age group.
