  1. I use Fantastik.

  2. use mr muscle oven cleaner spray foam. its the best. spray on the stove when its cool and leave it for approx 1 hour. after that u just have to wipe it off and your stove will be good as new. i use it and im 100% satisfied.

  3. Yes, use Clorox with small dash of water and start scrubbing with something that wont damage the surface of the appliance your cleaning. How about those green looking scrubbers that you might find in the supermarket near the sponges.

    Those work well.

  4. I like to soak it a little first - wet wash cloth or towel, which makes it easy to clean - I'm a firm believer and taking the way involving less work.  The little catcher things under the burners I put in the self cleaning oven because they're just gross and I'm tired of scrubbing them. :)  Then I just use dish soap to cut the grease, a plastic scrubber so as to not scratch the finish, and if it's a black stove, I use windex and paper towel to shine it all up.

  5. Grease cleaner.

    Formula 409

    Magic Eraser

  6. Many stoves have a self-clean mode.  There is usually a lever on the front door that you throw, and a setting on the control panel.  This heats up to maximum temperature and usually helps a lot.

There are also specific oven cleaners, that use a very basic (vs. acidic) chemical to remove grime.

If it truly is just grease, try a dishsoap and water solution.

    Good Luck!

  7. EASY OFF FOR STOVES!!!

even though this stuff may smell really chemical-y and make you feel like you want to cough up your lungs...it's definitaly well worth it

just make sure you open the windows and put the fan on because it is strong, but it's like magic

you spray it on leave it for about 3 minutes and all the grease just wipes away!!

p.s.: i wouldn't use it on the stove hood if you have one cuz it started making the paint peel, but it doesn't do that on the stove =]

  8. Start with Pine Sol to get rid of the grease.  Then go to Soft Scrub with Bleach, and get it really clean.  Finally, Windex.

  9. For the top of the stove, I use baking soda mixed with warm water or mixed with automatic dishwasher detergent (my favorite). Make a thick paste and let sit about 30 minutes. Wipe off, you may have to scrub a little but you'll be amazed how clean it will get. Make sure you wipe it well though, with a clean rag and warm water.

For inside the stove, if it's not self-cleaning, I use Easy Off Oven Cleaner. I use the formula designed to work overnight in a cold oven. Spray it on, let sit overnight, use rubber gloves and warm-hot water and an old rag the next day. Put down old newspaper to protect the floor. Make sure the area is well-ventilated.

If it's self-cleaning, just use the self-cleaning cycle. Make sure the outside of the stove is clean first, because the oven gets so hot it may bake anything on the outside and leave a permanent stain. Pick a time when you'll be home because it'll take 2-3 hours probably. Your kitchen will get very hot, so don't do it on the hottest day of the year! When the cycle is done, you can wipe out any ash on the bottom with a damp rag.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!

  10. For just the top of the stove, I remove it, take it outside, spray it with oven cleaner, later I hose it off.

  11. Clorox it!
