  1. i suggest to get a straight perm. all you have to do is take care of your hair like normal, only after your hair gets wet it'll still be straight. just get it done like every 6 months and bam your set :D

  2. Try Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum, you put one pump through your hair after you wet it and it decreases the frizziness and overall pouff. Its just under $15-- it's worth it, though, I use it 3-4 times a week and it looks like its going to last for almost 2 years)--and you can find it at essentially any credible salon.

You can kind of straighten hair with a blowdrier... if your hair type is naturally semi wavy to straight, that is.  For a Blake Lively-type look, use a round brush and bring the blowdrier to each part. For a totally stick straight look lacking a little shine, brush your hair straight through then blowdry straight down and out. Make sure to use a heat protectant spray-- tresemme works for me-- whenever you use a heat treatment.

    Good luck, honn :]

  4. For frizz/puffiness you can try:

Dove Straight & Soft Styling Cream

Dove Frizz Control Therapy Taming Cream with repairing serum

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum

Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Smoothing Cream

You can buy all of the above at a drugstore.

For straightening it without a straightener, you can use a round brush and a blow dryer. You should use a heat protection lotion like : got2b Crazy Sleek Hot Smooth Flat Iron & Blow Dry Lotion. Also available at drugstores.

This site can tell you how to do it:

  5. try blowdrying and combing your hair straight at the same time. then spray a 'straightening spray' im not really sure whats its called but i saw something liek that the other day by Herbal Essences!

    look here: http://www.herbalessences.com/ca_en/coll...

  6. you could blow dry it straight but thats still using heat which i assume your avoid umm sry really hard ques. ijust dont know who could live without a straightener

  7. There are products you can buy that control frizz, I used to buy this stuff by Fructis that was for "sleek" hair. I don't know that any product would be as effective as a hair straightener.

What I do now is put a glossing cream in my wet hair, then I LIGHTLY spray it with Biolage thermal active spray (this is basically a heat protectant) then I blow dry it then I straighten it. That Biolage stuff really protects your hair. I don't know how much it costs though.
