My second chi just broke and i think it is still under the guarantee because it has been under a year but just in case i can't get a new one for free I want a better straightener ( one that doesn't break after only 6 months maybe less) any suggestions helpful if you have actually had on that last long and one that still works really well

thanks

  1. try the GVP straightener at sally's.

its an imitation chi but its only like $60

    and wow, its amazing

ive tried the cheap conair straighteners

and they dont compare the the gvp

my hair was like super straight when i used the gvp

and it stayed straight all day, even with the humidity

unlike the chi, you can actually control the temperature you want it to be

chi's are amazing, but gvp's are great too

  2. GHD. I've had it for years and it still works great.

  3. I agree with beachh lover. The Sedu is definitely the best. Like her, I ordered mine (the 1" version) about a year ago from folica.com and it still works perfectly. Some of the reviewers said that they've had a Sedu for 3 or 4 years and it's just as great as when they first bought it, so it would probably be a nice change from the Chi.

  4. check out sallys beauty supply i got mine there and so did my sister, shes had hers for 2 years and its worked great, ive had mine for about a year and it works fine too

  5. The kiyoseki is the best straightner in the world trust me on this one.It can straighten and it can curl your hair if you want. And also when it hot outside your hair stays straight it will not frizz outside. This iron is also healthy for your hair.My hair is poofy frizzy SUPER curly and it works so good on my hair. I really cant live without it. To so see the commercial and reviews go to www.kstyler.com and if you have any questions you can always email me hope this helped.=)

  6. Sedu!

    www.sedubeauty.com

    www.folica.com search sedu..

    Why a Sedu?

    1. It is much less damaging compared to other straighteners

    2. It has a 1 year warrenty plus 30 day money back guarantee

    3. I straighten my hair everyday, never had a split end or

breakage, smooth and silky haiir baaby

    4. Sedu was rated the best straightener, Chi was rated above

    average...

well you can look into it and see what you think :D

ive had mine for over a year and it has never worked better

  7. Get a ceramic straightner from Conair. That way, your hair doesn't get damaged and I've been using their straightners for years.
