Straightening hair products?

Question

i just bought the remington wet2straight straightener and i only use it on dry hair

what products should i use on my hair before or after i straighten it to protect it?

my hair gets greasy if i put too much stuff in it

i would like to buy something cheap but good.

Thermal spray that's for sure. I find the ones at salons or specialty stores are much better and are worth spending the few extra dollars. I use DeLorenzo Extinguish thermal spray before blow drying and straightening, and DeLorenzo Intense Moisturizer on the ends afterwards. A good conditioner or shampoo also helps. Most of the supermarket brands dry the hair out and coat it in silicone.

Your best to go get some heat protection spray at a salon, because although your going to be spending alot more money, its guaranteed to help your hair. Any thing by paul brown is  good, and you can spray the stuff in after you shower before you go to bed, or in the morning or whenever you straighten it.

try Tressemme Thermal Solutions Heat Tamer. i got it at rite aid for like $6 and it works really well.
