  1. make sure you have a good straightner. also, use a straitening solution. herbal essences makes a good one, and frizz ease makes a spray for help straightening hair. i suggest using a round brush and a hairdryer to get it going, then use the straightener, and finish it off with hair spray.

  2. Theres this spray called "Extreme Shine".

Well liquid spray and you use it while you're straightening your hair.

You spray it on from a bit of a distance and it falls onto your hair and you straighten and what it does is keeps your hair from becoming unstraightened.

^ Theres a picture so you can find it.

    It works really good.

I use it and it keeps my hair straight throughout the day.

  3. I have the exact same problem. You should get a different straightner.

True Ceramic Pro works really well on any type of hair.

  4. pin up your layers while your straightening your hair, and straighten sections of one layer at a time.

  5. Bed Head Straightening Shampoo. It comes in a clear bottle, the shampoo itself is green.  If you use it everyday, your hair will become 'trained' to get more and more straight.

There's also another product, whose name escapes me--sorry, that comes in a yellow bottle with a red top.  It is sold at beauty supply stores (hair shops).  I want to say it is called Straightening Solutions.  When I use the two together, I don't have to perm (straighten) my hair.

  6. You need to buy a really good product to put on the hair before you flat iron it.learn to wrap your hair at nightaround your head with a brush and put on a sleeping scarf. If done correctly, it should be flat in the morning and need little grooming.

  7. ummmm......Hairspray maybe?????

  8. ummm dont get a perm it makes your hair feel so gross and stringy it will fry your hair! but ummm you should get a CHI they work well and also idk your ethnicity but i am white and black and i use hair grease... you probably wont need something that extreme so use like that sunsilk stuff that is supposed to make your hair shiny but put it on each individual section of hair you straighten and then go over it a few times.... it might work for you

  9. put in some hair serum to hold your style, give it shine, soften it, and make it glossy. yes, all in one bottle. a really good hair serum is Proclaim Glossing hair serum. it works very well and you can get it at Sally's:)

  10. Try using a Chi straightener.   Also try Heat Protection Thermal Spray $6.49 - Sallybeauty.com

  11. GHDs straighters are good

You can also get straightening cream  - must straighten it before use!!

    Hope this helps

  12. Perm duhh of course thats what all my friends have and it looks like a professional does there hair because it always stays straight you can also get it curly and stuff

  13. Sculpting Wax

  14. same thing w/ me except i dont have poofy hair.

its jus really wavy and long until i layered it.

layers don't look good if they're not straight so i get a perm. its really worth it and should last for 6 months.

  15. Yeah I agree using the Chi (Chi 63587 1" True Ceramic Hair Straightener). It really does work!! Phyto hair products also help and using a sculpting wax helps! Sephora has a bunch of products and carries both ...

  16. i had the same exact problem. I talked to my mom and she bought me a new hair straightener. the name is ceramic tools and it is part  of the definition series. My hair has never been unstraightend and if you can not get this straightener  than get one that goes up to 446 degrees F

    hope this helps:)

  17. I have the same problem to but mine is just really wavy and frizzy when i get out of the shower.  so what i do is i put a serum in my hair after i blow dry it to calm down my fly aways then i spray a heat protector in my hair to protect it from the heat and also to make my hair less poofy, then i straighten it.... sometimes it could also be the straightener  your using...

  18. have you considered Japanese Hair straightening? I know it s quite expensive, but it lasts up to 6 months. If you straighten your hair every other day, it might be worth it at the end.

  19. Maybe you should buy straighten gel you use it wehn you get out of the shower and then your hair will naturally straighten works 4 me

  20. Next time you get your hair cut you can ask your hairdresser to razor your hair a little bit. I have layered wavy hair and that's what my hair dresser does b/c it makes it way easier to straighten with a hair straightener. Also if you notice frizziness a good way to stop that is when you get out of the shower don't dry your hair with a towel- use a cotton t-shirt, I read that in a mag one time and tried it and it really does work. Also another thing to reduce any frizziness is dryer sheets, just rub them on your hair a little. I do all 3 of those things and my hair is straightened quickly, easily and no frizziness. Hope this helps!

  21. i have naturally striaght hair but i strighten mine for a really cool punk do is look. but for you what you need to do is weigh your hair down with this hair product called bed head its in a bright pink bottle you cant miss it. well what you do id dry your hair and use a pea size amout rub it in to your hair like your roots. but if you use to much it willl look greasy so dont use so much. then when thats in your hair strighten it.
