Strained my back about 3 weeks ago. Visited a massage therapist that performed a deep tissue massage, the therapist spent a lot of time on my hip flexor which ended up aggravating my sciatic nerve. Have had pain down my leg ever since. Wondering if the massage severely bruised the area, if so how long is recovery? Should I see a neurologist? Any feedback is desired.

  1. That was a good thing. Good news is that we made a partial confirmation, working the hip flexor muscles have shifted your hip bone that leads to your sciatica. In this case, I recommend seeing a specialist who can realign your hip bone and give you the relief you need. Go see these guys, they are the best of their profession.
