  1. For straightening hair, if you put hair spray in, it will stay in all day. Also, when straightening your hair, be sure to get your under hair on your head. That means that you need to get all your pieces of hair straight without any bumps to make it look good.

  2. Your parents are going to let you straighten your hair, but you can't wear eyeliner???

I've found most people eventually regret messing with their hair.  They may like it at first, but then the damage becomes apparent, whether it's dying it or straightening it.

And, what's so "standing out" about straight hair?

I would go for a different wardrobe, and be more outgoing, if I really wanted to get noticed.

Oh, on the straightening, it fries your hair if you're not careful.

  3. If you want your hair to stay straight all day it is good to use a silicone based product on it, to deflect the humidity and keep the strands straight - you also need a good straightening iron (if you don't have a ceramic plated one that's okay, just make sure you straighten it in very small chunks)

As for eyeliner - Kohl's carries a line called American Beauty (I live in Canada and will travel for these liners) - otherwise mineral based products are good for young skin - you want something that doesn't tug at your skin when you put it on - if you can go to Wal-Mart or a drugstore that has open samples and put it on the back your hand and see with how much ease you are able to draw a line.  A two use alternative would be using an eyeshadow on a damp angle brush.  I don't like liquid liners, fine them too harsh - but Victoria's Secret does have some nice metalic ones for reasonable prices.
