Andrea Stramaccioni, the Inter Milan manager, is sick of the constant questioning about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-c36794 Sneijder’s contract problems and his future in the side
As far as the team selection is concerned, Stramaccioni is adamant that the final decision rests with him and he gets to choose who plays and who sits out. According to him, the absence of Sneijder has nothing to do with his contract
and that if the coach thinks it is suitable to play the midfielder, then he will be on the pitch.
Nerazzurri director Marco Branca had stated earlier that the Dutchman will not play until he signs the new contract being offered to him, which elongates his stay at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 but gets a pay-cut in return.
Sneijder has already refused the offer and said that he will not sign the agreement with the salary deduction. He is hoping that he gets bought off by another club during the January transfer window, if the new bond being offered
does not change.
The tactician for the side however refuses to admit that the 28-year-old is not being played because of legal issues. He sticks to the statement that current game play setup has no spot for the Dutch midfielder.
“All of the decisions made about all of my players are made exclusively down to my evaluations,” the gaffer told reporters.
The young manager remarked that Sneijder was attending regular training sessions and that if the need arises he will call on the attacking midfielder to represent the outfit on the field.
He was rather annoyed by the repeated questioning about this situation, since the media is making the club look a bit shallow; the management giving preference to legal matters rather than the football being played.
“He’s training with his teammates, he’s doing well and I hope to not have to answer any more questions on the subject. I think I’ve already spoken too much about the argument.” stated an agitated Stramaccioni.
According to the tactician, he is reserving his better players for the upcoming challenges to avoid risk of injury. With the club already through to the knockout stages of the Europa League there is no need for them to go full
force in every match, like the one against Neftci PFK on Thurday.
“This is not a time of the season when I can use all of my first team players because of our physical condition. We have to get to Sunday with the most energy possible," the manager was referring to the match against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003.
