Andrea Stramaccioni, head coach of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, has gone on to comment on their defeat at the hands of the Gialloblu and lamented their performance at the Tardini.
Inter Milan had a golden opportunity to cut the gap between themselves and Juventus to one point when they went on to face off Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. Juventus lost out to AC Milan in their match over the weekend, in what was a match decided by
a rather controversial decision, Juventus were unable to peg back and come back from behind to secure a victory or a draw.
This was the second loss for the Bianconeri outfit in recent times and this has hampered the lead that they were commanding at the start of the season. This is also in stark comparison to the season they had before, where they went the full length of the
season having remained unbeaten, and now even before the midway to the 2012-13 campaign, the Turin giants see themselves having succumbed to two defeats in less than a month.
The defeat meant that they stood on 32 points at the end of their 14th match of the season; this had given the chance to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 and Inter Milan to pile on the pressure on the reigning Scudetto holders and reduce the gap at the top of the table.
However, the Nerazzurri outfit did not have the same amount of hunger as Ennio Tardini outfit, and the Gialloblu played well on their home ground.
They took the lead against the Nerazzurri outfit through Nicola Sansone, and Strama’s men could not claw their way back into the match. While commenting on the performance of his, Stramaccioni could not hide his secret and went on to state:
“We started well and attacked Parma but they were solid, but the second-half was a different story. That was one of the worst second-half performances I have ever seen from the team. In the second half we did not do very well. Sansone's goal started from
one of our own throw-ins and then we just let him go. It was a severe error. It was obvious that we lacked something in the middle of the pitch. We should have avoided that goal.”
Napoli, on the other hand, capitalised on the defeat of Juventus and Inter Milan, and are in the second place of the Serie A.
