The former Internazionale player has constantly been linked with a move away from his current club, Manchester City, after falling out of
favour with the management.
The Nerazzurri are in need of fresh blood in their squad and the team management has been working hard to scout new talent. The average age of the Beneamata
squad is one of the highest in the Serie A and that has contributed to their indifferent campaign.

Stramaccioni was giving his comments on their matchday 32 fixture of the Serie A against AC Siena, and during the interview he was quizzed on the possibility
of Mario Balotelli joining the Nerazzurri ranks. The recently appointed manager found it best not to comment much on the issue and remarked:
“I can speak only of Inter. With regards transfer stories, you’ll have to ask Massimo Moratti or Marco Branca. To talk about a player from another team
for me now is not the best thing. I cannot judge him either as I’ve never coached him.”

When quizzed on his interest in Siena player, Mattia Destro, the 36-year-old spoke highly of the Robur star, and stated that he is at a higher level than

“He represents the future because he has become a fixed point in the Under-21s and has proven to be good. As a young striker he would do well at any Italian
team. Tomorrow though, we will try to limit him.”
