Inter director, Marco Tronchetti Provera, has stated that the board is impressed by the current manager’s impact at the quashed rumours of Prandelli’s arrival.
The Italian came under a dark cloud at the club following the abysmal run of form under Claudio Ranieri. Inter only managed a solitary victory in the last ten matches of
Ranieri, with a 2-0 victory at Chievo being the solitary win. However, even though there were rumours of Ranieri staying at the club till the end of the season, a 2-0 defeat at the hands of their bitter rivals Juventus sealed his fate and he was consequently
