Strange, Strange, Strange and Strange?

Well, there is this guy at school who has made a song up about me and the way I talk, the whole grade knows it and it's actually embarassing.

No-one else thinks so but how do you get it to stop or at least calm down.

I've told him to stop but he won't, I don't want to be mean but the song is getting personal about how I look like and so on.

I am sorry to hear that someone is doing that to you in school, My Advice to you is, and can be hard to do at times but if you do it and keep doing it, it usually works. Ignore what he is doing or anyone else that is involved in making fun of you. He is doing this to get a reaction out of you and if you show it doesn't bother you, then it will be no fun for him and he will quit picking on you. I was picked on in school as well and I know from experience. Hope this helps and wish the best of luck to you.

Take it in four steps:

Ask him to stop politely

Ignore him

Call him a jerk

Make up your own little song about him and make it juicy.

Exaggerate the way you talk, that way no one can make fun of you because you're doing it yourself and showing that the song doesn't bother you. (Even though it does, but they're not to know that you're pretending.)

Fighting back against a bully will only make the situation worse...it's usually what they are wanting you to do, because they feed off of your frustration . Arguing with them isn't a good idea, either.  If you can’t just ignore the person, talk to them in a civil tone. They don't like it, if they think their bullying isn't getting to you, it takes their fun away. Speak to someone you can trust. They may be able to help you. There's nothing worse than a bully and the mental bullying that you are experiencing is so hurtful.
