Strange, painful headaches?

Question

Occasionally, I will get odd headaches where it's a horrible throbbing in say, the back left part of my head for a few seconds, then it moves to say, the front right part of my head for a few seconds, then it moves to say, the back right of my head for a few seconds, etc.

My physician had no idea what it could be, and I was wondering if anyone here has had similar experience or knows what it could be.
