Question:

Strange, repetitive dream?

I keep having the same dream, with slight altercations. I can't drive yet, but in my dream I'm driving a car surprisingly well (not mentioning the ominous, nervous feeling I have in my gut at the time). There are usually people with me, whether it be an animal, or a group of friends. Within a few minutes the ride gradually turns disastrous, and I jerk the wheel in the opposite direction, nearly crashing into a tree. The ride goes on, my control fading as I continue to have near fatal crashes with various obstacles, only swerving in the opposite direction when my impending collide-ee is inches away. At this point, my companions are either cheering me on, or completely calm. The same could not be said for me, as I feel as though I'm on a high wire and about to fall. Im panicking, but still level-headed, and I manage to get my companions to the destination in one piece. Shaken, I have an worrying feeling that the journey is not over, and I will have to continue driving. What does it mean?

  1. What about in reality? Is there something you are fearing? Are you fearful of driving? Of deceiving someone?

you are in control of something but you lose that control

repetitive dreams are usually related to something in real life and you losing control means you are fearing something subconciously

i'm not an expert so I can't say specifically but this is tied to something in your life right now

the fact that you have animals and other people shows that there might be others involved

  2. I've had similar dreams that I am nervous the whole time while driving and almost get into accidents. I can't drive well yet so I think it had something to do with me being afraid.

Now when you mention that the other passengers are all calm or cheering you on, I'd say it shows that everyone is comfortable but you.

I've had a dream where I'm half naked at school and nobody notices or cares but me. I'm freaking out and everyone is treating me normally. I know it was because I have insecurities. That can probably translate to the meaning of your dream.

Everyone else is doing good and you are the only one feeling nervous or everyone else has confidence in your abilities but you. Whether it has something to do with driving specifically, I don't know. Try to dig deep. Find the culprit of this insecurity and you will know what your dream is trying to show you.
