Question:

Strange Electronic Feedback?

I have been getting odd feedback on an audio editing program. But only when the speakers are facing me. I get a lot of different pitches and different volumes. The noise reacts to my position. If i go to another room when it is on, it will lower 3 octaves, and heightens when i get near it. I was able to alter the volume with my mind once and sometimes it goes into these spasmodic moments where I hear pulsing, turbulent, low, vibrating noises. It has 3 different pitches at once and always has a rhythm. Someone I was speaking to told me it was a spirit trying to get through. Please let me know what you think. thank you.

  1. I agree with the first answer - what you described sounds an awful lot like feedback. What you described later in the paragraph sounds exactly like a cell phone. My cell phone produces a "do  do-do-do  do-do-do...." type rhythm. Nothing spooky here, just normal audio phenomena.

  2. don't know but if your wearing a cell phone while this is happening try taking your cell phone off when you approach your speakers and see if it still does it. i get feed back on my speakers if I am standing too close with my cell on me.

I have heard it happening with cordless land lines as well. too close to a speaker will have this effect.

    worth looking into it anyway.

  3. Another interesting thing.

Me and my brother used to have cell phones and he had very sensitive speakers which would make the do-do-do sounds periodically. There was a particular sequence that would broadcast about 1 or 2 seconds before the phone would ring and we knew which phone would ring by the do-do-do thing right before it actually rang.

Also, sometimes speakers pick up tones from other things like remote controls.

  4. Have another person approach and move about the speakers with you out of the room and that will tell you.

  5. I agree with that person. Who knows, huh? Spooky!

  6. You probably have a microphone open. Check the audio settings on the computer in the record section to see if microphone is checked. Just double click the speaker icon down on the right bottom of the screen, click properties and select recording.

  7. IT WORKED!!!  IT WORKED!!!

I've been trying to project my excorporeal psyche through someone's speakers and yours were open to my attempt!  This, of course is because you are the spirit channel, or sink, as it were.  Without you it couldn't have worked.

Oh my God!  I DID it!  Somebody call Randi!
