Ok.. been having problems with sores in my mouth. Over the last few months I have had patches of white dead skin develop under my tounge on my saliva glands. So painful I cant hardly swollow and they would sometimes even bleed.

Also been having sore throats now off and on for several months.

Now I have these strange white looking "pimples" on my cheeks and gums. Obviously I am going to ask my doctor.. so dont lecture me about that. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas so I can look up info before going to the doctor. Thanks to all!

  1. Herpes maybe. Where has that mouth been? Never mind, I don't wanna know. Go see your doc!

  2. Your description isn't very good, but herpes would be a good guess.  There's no cure, but there is treatment.  Apparently it involves rock climbing, the beach, and other people.  Not overly attractive people, but like an 8/10.  You can spread herpes while not having an outbreak, but you should be good to go on the rock climbing.

The best way for you to get a good answer without seeing a doctor is to take a picture and share it with an STD or oral hygiene group.

  3. looks like leocoplakia. White patches all over, in your mouth. Go to your dentist asap, it could be infectious or pre cancerious.
