Strange cell phone call?

My husband and I were leaving the grocery store and my phone started ringing. I looked at the caller I.D. and it was my husband..I asked him why he was calling me and he said, "I'm not...". He showed me his phone and sure enough he wasn't. And mine continued to ring and just for kicks and giggles I answered, and nobody was there, of course. How could that happen?

  1. Hi,

It's most likely someone using a spoofcard. (http://www-spoofcard.com) You can make ANY number appear on the caller ID. I've had this happen to me before, where my own number calls me. For me, it was some arab-sounding guy claiming to have $3,000 of grant money for me and just needed to verify my bank account # - PSH! I was like, send me a check (ofcourse they didn't). So, point is, never answer it, and never believe what they tell you. Telemarketers can't use them so they have to be scammers.

    Hope that helps

  2. did he happen to have it in his pocket, and lets say he sat down and pressed a button on accident?

    that always happens to me

or maybe he was fooling around with his phone or doing something and he accidentally pressed a button to call you

  3. well maybe it was just a company accident????

something went wrong with the system

...... or they have this new thing that if u get somebodys phone  you can transfer all the calls to a phone of your seclection
