Strange dreams. Why all the violence and what does it mean?

I've had some bizarre dreams lately. They're both kind of violent and were graphic, but I don't usually have dreams or thoughts like this. I'm a 22 year old female if that helps.

The first dream I'm at a pool social scene and suddenly a high school counselor starts upsetting me with strange questions. I try to get away and end up killing her on accident. Then, of all things, I casually kick her body into a lake. Then I let a guy I used to know take the blame for the whole thing. I later return to the pool and swim as if nothing happened.

The second one was intense. One of my friends left my house in a group of about 3 people. As soon as they got outside, he got shot in the head. I was inside when it happened and didn't see anything, just called 911. Nobody outside saw any shooter.

Why am I dreaming about stuff like this and what might it mean?

  1. When we close are eyes and sleep at night our sub conscience mind tend to drift into a surreal world.Try not eat noting heavy before you sleep watch to graphic of movie. If you had a dis agreement with someone it helps to make mend before you sleep it helps.

  2. I know how you feel.

Has there been any extra stress or anything out of the ordinary happened lately? Dreams are a way that our minds show us different situations to help us adjust to life. Like the kicking a body into a lake, that could mean that you haven't really contemplated the death process. Also I notice the counselor questioning you was upsetting you. It could be that you have a problem with people showing authority towards you.

Again, the death thing, it really seems there's a conflict or misunderstanding about death. If it's really upsetting you, I would take into consideration starting a dream journal and see if you notice a pattern. Like I said in paragraph one, it could just be a temporary thing and you'll be back to normal in a few days.

This is just for you to think about as I don't usually interpret other's dreams.
