  1. Probably a loose wire nut, or wire, connection in the box that the plug was knocked loose from. In many homes the outlets are powered from the last outlet. For instance- the power comes in to one box, then a line (wire) goes from that box to the next. And from that one to the next.  If you break the line somewhere... then every box downstream from there will have no power.

Check the outlet that the plug was knocked loose from.

  2. Most likely your plug that broke is the first in the series or at least in the series youve lost power to. Shut off the breakers and check the wiring to the plug if you have mutiple black and white wires and grounds than you need to replce the plug and power should be restored then. Get a duplex plug just like you have (with the same number of terminals and screws) and put em back just like they came out

  3. You've probably lost the common at the damaged plug.

  4. first of all,"flipping the breakers 100 times" does nothing but wears the breakers out.they arent made to be flipped,or tripped so much.you may have broken a contact wire when you hit the plug, shut the breaker off, unscrew the outlet and check to see that all wires are tight, all screws are tight etc.if backwired, check to make sure no wires are broken off.outlets are wired in series,so if one goes out,its not uncommon for two or three more to go out as well.
