Strange mountain bike obstacle...?

So I was biking at a park that I go to all the time, and i went down an unmarked trail that I had never been on . I found an awesome teeter totter and went over it, but then I came across a huge wooden arc. It was a perfect semi-circle, about 3-4 feet tall and made out of the same wooden planks as the teeter totter. I didn't even try it because it looks impossible. So I was wondering, what is it and how would you go about getting over it.. Thanks!

  1. he sounds like its a difficult climping obstacle

  2. its just what you said it was, just a semicircle (i dont know the real name...) what you would need to do is ride up to it and if its verticle when it goes into the ground then you would put your bike in a low gear, and crank very fast, leaning back when you start going up, then forward as you near the top, and way back as you go down...

if theres a ramp or anything then just ride up it, then down it..

  3. I would hit it hard and and jump it easiest way to get over it,plus not that hard to do also extremely fun. Done them before..... super fun :) :)
