Question:

Strange noise from my Civic?

I have a 2000 standard Honda Civic with 150k and I notice that between 40-60 speed I hear a grinding noise like a motorcycle chain. I already change one wheel bearing but the noise does not go away. The tires are new. I would like know if it is not the transmission gears that are making this noise?

  1. Sounds like the transmission to me. My 98 honda civic had a problem similar to that. Have someone look at that before you mess up your transmission


  2. we can't hear it...take it to a Honda or inde repair shop and ask them
