Question:

Strange plant growing?

There is a plant that is climbing the empty house next door. Now it has what looks like green, yellow and orange "fruits" growing on it...(not sure if its edible) so me being curious I got an orange one down and split it open. Now the inside had bright slimey pips abit like pomangrantes but the white bit that was attached to the pips it resembled what would look like in a pepper. The shape is oval and all the colours are bright. any suggestions to what it may be?

Cheers

  1. Possibly Bittersweet - there is a native (US) variety and an Asian invasive type.

It would help to know where you are and how big the fruits are.

  2. Google passion flower - sounds like one of them!
