Question:

Strange pregnancy symptoms or just strange?

So last Wednesday was when I could have potentially ovulated. I don't know because I don't chart or monitor my CM or anything. I am just trying to go with two weeks before my period is due. Anyway, on Thursday I got a migraine headache for the first time in a long time. Then yesterday I had vertigo for the first time ever. I'm wondering if anyone has ever experienced these things before finding out that they are pregnant. My DH and I have been having a bunch of s*x lately at all different times so if I ovulated earlier or later I was probably covered. Anybody ever experience these headaches or dizziniess and then find out it was due to hormones?

  1. I was dizzy the entire time I was prego. and a head ache was the first thing before the nausea that I had.

  2. I have not personally experienced it, but headaches and dizziness CAN be a sign of pregnancy. I'd try to forget about it for another week to keep your sanity. Good luck-I'd like to see both of us move to the pregnancy questions this month.

  3. Sure, it can be a pregnancy symptom. However it could also be PMS (even if you haven't had it before). It could be that you are hyper-sensitive to all your "symptoms" because you are hoping to get pregnant. Your mind could be running away with you, or you may just be paying extra close attention and noticing things that you usually don't notice, but have always been there. You could also be sick, stressed, or something else.

If you ovulated last Wednesday, it would most likely be too early to have symptoms now, anyways. However if you ovulated earlier than you had thought (which could be, since you really don't know for sure and are only basing your timing on an "average" cycle), then sure it could be legitimate pregnancy symptoms. The only way to find out would be to test. You should wait until your period is due to get an accurate result on a home pregnancy test.

    Good luck.
