These headphones come at a price difference of 80 bucks if I buy from a different store on amazon.

Sounds fishy.

Why does it cost so much less?

  1. Well, there's a fishy smell, but it's not coming from Amazon. Look at the description... the MSRP on those phones is $129.95.. Amazon's direct price is $119.99. Pretty typical for Amazon.

I don't know a thing about who "Toyzz" is, but they're obviously rip-off artists. I mean, look their price is crazy, and not only that, but they want to charge you $24.95 to ship these... a tiny pair of headphones in a box.

Now, these other guys... well, I don't know. It's not unusual for discounts to get pretty big in audio gear, not just Amazon's <$10 off the MSRP.

So next, check around. You probably know something about Amazon, you don't know a thing about those other guys. I checked... $119 seems to be about the going rate at reputable companies like Crutchfield and Newegg. So these other guys might be pulling something. Could be they're just super efficient, but it could be they're selling used, refurnished, or counterfeit units, too.
