Strange rock from sky, that i found

ok so i found this rock thingy like 2 minuetrs after i was atving and it wasnt at the place before and i picked it up and brought it back and it was magnetic

Tells us how hot is was.

If it was a meteor, and had fallen within the last two minutes, it would have burned your hand.

It also should have made a rather sizeable hole in the pavement.

My first thought is that your ATV kicked it up when you didn't see it. If there is really some question, you can contact an observatory or geology department at a college, and they can put you in touch with someone who would know what it is.

send it to starr the astronomer, she knows people at the nasa meteor place  to contact. send a pic of it . from all sides .

its probobly magnetite a natrully magnetic earth rock.

My thoughts are that it is just your every day ordinary Lodestone, here is a wiki article about lodestones, there is a picture too.
