I recently had a 2nd reconstructive surgery on my face and am much more pleased with this surgeons work and efforts to keep my interest in mind when assessing me and making his plan of action. Would it be strange to give him a thank you card on my follow up?? and if there are doctors out there how would you take this???

Thanks everyone!

  1. I work for a doctor (nanny for his children) and he regularly gets thank you cards from patients.  I think it's polite and thoughtful and they would be happy to know that they were appreciated.

  2. If you mean it, sure.

  3. A thank you card is nice and will be appreciated I'm sure but maybe the doc would just like to relax in the hot tub with you and discuss your surgery. Who knows..

  4. If I were a surgeon I'd love to ge thank-you cards! It would make me feel like my work is appreciated. I think it's a great idea!

  5. WHAT A GREAT GESTURE.
