  1. ask the consultant at the store where you bought it

if it is lined then you may not need to wear one

  2. You would need to wear a strapless long line bra.

  3. Do wear a bra, and don't go strapless.  I have seen wayyyy too many pictures with brides and bridesmaids chests sagging.  It's disgusting.

Cleavage shows with the strapless gowns, and your guests aren't going to want to see cleavage.

  4. I would strongly suggest something with plenty of coverage and support...

  5. I would wear a bra with the gown.  I initially tried on my dress with a bra and it looked fabulous.  A few days later, I went to try the dress on again (without the bra) and it didn't sit right on me.  (I have 36DD so I had to!)

  6. Depends on how well-endowed you are and how the dress is built.  Some dresses can have bra cups put into them; others are too sheer or don't work that way for other reasons.  Some people really need the support; for others, a well-tailored dress is enough.

  7. its not necessary.  but you might feel better if you had one.  i had a strapless dress and i put a built in bra in it.  maybe you could do that.

  8. If you are an A or B cup, then as long as you are not bouncing around and falling out (sorry, lol, don't know how to put it gently) then you might be okay without one. Make sure it is snug fitting.

If you are a C or larger, yeah, your going to need some sort of a bra. I'm a C 1/2 and if I went without a bra, I'd be bouncing up the aisle. Bad image, I know. Talk to your bridal shop. They would know best on this one.

  9. It is recommended by me , to NOT wear a bra with a strapless gown. If you don't feel comfortable you could wear those nipple covers.

  10. Try it on and ask your mother or an honest friend whether you look "droopy." If not, you can probably forgo the bra. If so, find a comfortable strapless one.

  11. Some dresses offer enough support that you do not need one.

Head to Frederick's (great selection of specialty bras that are not too expensive) and buy one.  Try your dress on with and without it.  If you are fine without it, return the bra.

  12. I would suggest that you take pictures while wearing a bra and then without.  See how they look.  My sister was actually convienced (by her future MIL, no less) that she looked fine without a bra since her bust was not too large.  Weeeeeeelll, let me tell you, it is quite obvious in all her wedding pictures that she is braless.  The comfort of going braless will last a day, but those pictures last forever!!

  13. Try your dress on with a bra and then with out...Which on e is more comfortable and looks the best?

    Good Luck!

  14. You can ask your seamstress to sew a bra right into the dress. This way you still get the support, but you don't have to worry about the bra itself showing.
