describe the major strategies and tactics used by various minority groups to reach full participation in American society

Obviously marching and protesting current policies regarding immigration, large groupes at a time missing work in protest that basically shuts an employee down for a day just to show how much power they have, and actually thats not much different than the what the unions did not to long ago. Sometimes they do resort to violence which is not good but it does have an effect on the employeers.
