  1. For me heads up every hand is potentially the winner since your money will always be in the pot before you get your cards it is silly to fold and give your money away. Remember you won't have pot odds in heads up because there is only two of you so you won't have to worry about other people coming along and sucking out. Yes even 72off in SB is worth calling so long as there isn't a raise. But usually in heads up the chances of both players having a good hand is pretty slim. Heads up is more about the luck of the cards and well timed aggression.

  2. This is called heads up and it's the most challenging and interesting forms of hold'em.  With a full table you're waiting on a certain hand to play but if you do that in heads up the other person will take most of the pots and cream you.  So it's more about playing the player rather than playing the cards.  Of course your cards do dictate play but you're also looking very closely at the play of your opponent, discovering his weaknesses and expoiting them, and watching out that you don't get exploited yourself.

Here's some of the main strategies although keep in mind this is like chess in that you've got to play a lot to be good at it:

Weak players who tend to fold a lot - you're going to bet more and with weaker hands.

Players who tend to call a lot - you want to bet for value (when you have something) and get them to pay you off, and pay them off less when they hit their hands by folding more than they do.

Players who like to bet and raise a lot - look to trap them with better hands and let them dictate the action.

It's important to vary your play so that the other person doesn't get wise to what you're doing.  The easiest way to do this is to watch the opponent make changes in their style then adjust yours.

    Good luck!

  3. tezs hold'em is played with 2 cards in your hand, and 5 on the table.  Since it all hinges on 2 cards you can't drop for other cards, and there are multiple betting rounds, you should work on betting strategy and reading your opponent.  Since you have multiple betting rounds, it should be easy to make a winning bet, or fold, before it's too late.  Also, think of what THEY can have.  For example, if only 2 cards on the table are the same suit, the most of the same suit he can have is 4, eliminating a flush.  This way you know what he DOESN'T have, so it may be easier to know what he does have.
