Strategy to playing CRIBBAGE?????

i know how to play, im just tired of not winning more often, i seem to be doing something not right! any startegies to this board, card game that im not aware of? lol

Try going to eCribbage.com and logging on and playing some of the players there. They are very helpful and can give you lots of tips.

You can make an educated guess at what your opponent hold by what he/she plays. Also, you know what is in your hand and what cards you put in the crib.  If you have a pair, lead one to bait your opponent into pairing it so you can come back with triplets.  Same with a run, particularly the 4,5,6 where you can get 3 for the run and 2 for hitting 15.  The strategy in cribbage is pegging, but a 24 meld doesn't hurt, either.
