Strathaird and Whatshallwedo to collide in the Class 5 No Risk With Betangel Practice Mode Novices’ Handicap Chase on 15th February
The Class 5 No Risk With Betangel Practice Mode Novices’ Handicap Chase will be staged at Southwell on Wednesday, 15th February with eleven ready to contest. The winner will get entitled to the £1,916 purse.

The race was won by Johnny Owen and the runner up of the race was Strathaird. Whatshallwedo was entered as a 4/7 favourite for the event.
Whatshallwedo and Strathaird will encounter each other again on 15th February.
Strathaird who is Medicean’s eight-year-old bay gelding out of mare Heed My Warning has stretched the streak of staying positioned in his last five starts. Strathaird’s third start of the new season got him to the third position in the Ladbrokes Handicap Chase on 18th January at Southwell. Esteem was the 11/8 favourite for the race but could not compete that day.
The two will come face to face on 15th February.
His most recent race on 1st February at Newcastle in the La Taxis Handicap Chase had him was third against Transact, who won the race.
15th February would be the fifth time that Strathaird will race this season with Whatshallwedo up for his second start. Esteem, who was drawn out from the last race at the end moment, is also part of the lineup.
