  1. les paul

  2. Definitely Les Paul - warmer sound, better pickups, three-way toggle allows for ease of use and more versatility over the 5-way on the strat, humbuckers give off less noise than the strat's single-coils, better construction, more solid plug jack, and they just plain look nicer, too...

  3. Les Paul rocks it

  4. LESSY

  5. Les Paul, Baby

  6. Definitely a Les paul!!

They have a brilliant look to them that id say is much more appealing to a Strat.

Nd their tone is much warmer.

  7. Hi Ryan

I have both plus a Jackson. The stratocaster is nice because of its neck pickup which gives a good sound to arpeggios (sweeps). Fender always had this clean sound.

The Les Paul is my baby for rock, blues and even jazz. It has a fat sound and more presence compared to any Fender.

It's a matter of taste. Gibson has good re-sale value over the years. My 1963 Gibson Les Paul is valued between $12,000 - 20,000 . It's a Gold Top , same year as Jimmie page on Led Zep Live. He rarely used it but you can be seen with it.
