Strattera and Adult ADD?

Right now I'm on 100mg/day Zoloft. I found out a few weeks ago I have ADD (I'm 34 years old by the way). I'd like to hear some input from anyone in my shoes. What's it feel like? Side Effects? Mixing two meds? Done a bit of research, but your help would be great. Thanks

  1. I took stratera and celexa together.  I liked the stratera.  It made me feel like I had more control of impusles.  It helped me concentrate also.

  2. Strattera didn't work for my ADD, I'm 43.  I'm not totally sure about my dg at this point.  I was dg with diabetes this past summer and started a low carb diet for that and have found many of my ADD symptoms gone away.  Not totally, but it really helps.  Exercise helps too, even just 15 minute walk a day helps with mood.  I was starting to think I was bipolar and I came across psycheducation.org and he recommends exercise as a mood elevator.  I have been doing it and no more bipolar symptoms, and it also helps with my blood glucose.

The thing I have found is that with the glucose out of whack it does weird things to your brain.  There is a fair population who have prediabetes and bipolar or depression.  IMHO the ADD is a side effect of the exhaustion of having your blood glucose out of whack.

Answer me 2 questions and I'll be quiet.

    1. Are you exhausted over weight and carb addicted?

okay that's three, but I'm willing to bet.
